
My story
I have practised Pilates for over 18 years and found it to be the most beneficial movement and exercise for my body I have ever encountered. I came to Pilates originally suffering from back and shoulder pain recommended by a Physio.
I would dabble with gyms, personal trainers, HIIT classes to stay fit and healthy over the years. However despite trying to embrace the new fitness trends, I always came back to Pilates. It always felt ‘right’,did not put any pressure on my body and kept me in great shape! And it was FUN!
With a highly successful events career I travelled all over the world running large projects for blue chip and tech clients. It seemed glamorous but the long hours and grueling schedules got the better of me. The aftermath was high stress, exhaustion, a tight overworked body, bad posture, and essential Osteopath trips to relieve the pain.


In 2016 I discovered Classical Pilates. Most people will not know the difference, but the classical system follows the method Joseph Pilates originally designed. It was masterful, miraculous and made me feel like a different person. The equipment was supportive yet challenged my weak spots to make me strong, and even the mat work worked wonders for my body.
I began to feel more open and alive, pain lessened and I took control of my body and mind. Pilates not only was enjoyable, it became essential self care!
Pilates is more than just an exercise, it is a clever methodology and system and for me a lifestyle choice. The Classical system is endless and it can transform, heal and work wonders for the body.
Becoming a teacher...
I enrolled with Exhale Pilates London , and joined their first teacher training programme in 2017 and never looked back. Exhale is an award winning studio and has been voted one of the top studios in the UK so the calibre is high and the programme challenging! Affiliated with Authentic Pilates Education International; this is an internationally recognized comprehensive teaching programme of minimum 600 hours of learning the Classical Pilates system.
I am fully trained in all apparatus ; Reformer, Cadillac, Tower, Chairs, Barrels and mat. The programme teaches us anatomy of the body and also how to watch and adapt the work for each individual person. Every workout is personal to YOU and what you need.
I LOVE to learn, and my self practice and continuing Pilates education is just as important as my teaching. If you can’t feel it you can't teach it I have been taught and it’s true!
I take regular classes and workshops with some amazing international teachers. I am thankful for my journey and the wonderful Pilates community I am part of. I only want to only pass my learnings on and help people be comfortable and in control of their own bodies for maximum health and happiness !
